Family Ties: Contest Winner (Concord, NC family photographer)

Way back at Christmas time, I gifted a session in the Christmas Giveaway of 2011.  The winner turned out to be quite entertaining when I received his response after winning:

"Trumpets are sounding from the Heavens.  I just received news that we won the mini session.  It was totally meant to be.  What do you have planned Jan.7?  That is a Saturday and I want to say that I'm off.  So pencil us in if possible.  That only gives me a couple weeks to put on a few pounds of shear muscle or buy a new spanx body suit."

It was at this time that I knew we were going to be in for a good time during this session.

I don't believe I had ever had a family use this color combination.  Amy, the mama, did a fantastic job pulling together these coordinating outfits...and convincing her husband that the touch of pink under his grey sweater was the perfect touch.  

Let me just state several things that I love about this next shot:

1.  Littlest sisters tummy peeking out above her beyond fashionable belt.

2.  Yellow tights + pink boots.  Need I even comment?

3.  Mom and Dads fashionable shoe choices :)

Matt, the hollywood diet of asparagus and green tea that you had planned totally paid off.  You guys were beyond fun to photograph and I hope these images are forever cherished by your family!

Off to find some pink boots of my own...
